T-Mobile Retail Store Manager (Sales Experience Required) – Downtown Spokane MobileOne LLC

invites applications for the Retail Store Manager (Manager In Training) role. The position offers a base pay range of

$19.00/hr – $42.00/hr

and a 90‑day blended‑learning program designed to prepare candidates to manage a T‑Mobile Premium Retail Store.

Job Summary The Manager in Training (MIT) program focuses on immersing the candidate in all aspects of store management, including supervising day‑to‑day activities, ensuring overall store performance, identifying staffing needs, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans while mentoring and coaching the team. Each month the program highlights a different area of running the location. A successful MIT must complete the training to be promoted to Retail Store Manager.

Requirements

One year previous management experience in retail, preferably in wireless. (Required)

Ability to lead and coach to deliver financial results.

Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Pass a pre‑employment background check (will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all laws).

High‑school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age.

Knowledge and Skill

Knowledge of T‑Mobile products, services, policies, systems, etc. – preferred.

Basic Microsoft Office suite and G‑suite abilities.

Effective communication in both written and verbal formats.

Ability to train others on the sales process and adapt to the Mobile Expert’s learning style.

Deliver constructive feedback productively.

Maintain working knowledge of all store sales/operations to address Mobile Experts’ questions.

Explain Mobile Expert pay thoroughly and accurately.

Recruit, interview, and retain staff.

Responsibilities

Responsibility for overall productivity results in the store and delivering results based on key performance indicators.

Hiring and developing a team of effective Sales Associates.

Training store associates in using store systems, including Point of Sale, to support the customer experience.

Creating a positive environment that supports MobileOne’s values.

Coaching Mobile Associates in building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering a strong customer experience.

Maintaining a clean and organized store environment at all times.

Ensuring visual merchandising is engaging to customers while adhering to MobileOne/T‑Mobile standards.

Keeping Mobile Associates updated on new products and technologies and the necessary sales techniques to promote them.

Ensuring every customer’s needs are met before they leave the store, matching the solution and guiding them through the onboarding process.

Utilizing tools and resources to grow internal talent and build skills through coaching and performance assessment conversations.

Driving operational efficiencies to minimize risk and protect the store’s assets.

Compensation and Benefits Pay:

$19.00 – $42.48 / hour (hourly wage and potential store bonus). Benefits:
