About the Role

Leads teams of sales executives accountable for growing Legal sales across the corporate SMB market, focusing on new acquisition sales and growing existing relationships.

Collaborates with the regional sales teams, segment commercial owners, and marketing to deliver and support these requirements.

Builds training and coaching programs for sales executive roles that focus on sales attainment, skill development, product development, and leverage KPIs to manage performance and growth.

Partners with Legal Sales Lead to maximize resource deployment within the region and coordinate approach based on business needs.

Owns and develops hiring and recruiting strategy to bring in top talent to offset turnover risk in field roles.

Pioneers, leads, and project‑manages cross‑sell initiatives across large corporates with an outcome‑ and metric‑driven focus.

Develops an effective and diverse network to achieve business goals.

Adheres to a Servant Leadership approach—understanding and removing barriers to team members’ success while sharing best practices across the team.

Sets and communicates clear performance expectations and holds team members accountable to those expectations, covering sales attainment, forecasting, SFDC compliance, reporting, learning agility, professionalism, culture, and values.

Key Deliverables

Deliver target financial and strategy objectives for the team (e.g., gross sales [PY growth]), drive growth through cross‑sell/up‑sell, net new customer acquisitions, and product innovation.

Refresh strategic workforce with an active talent and succession pipeline, achieving annual improvements in organizational effectiveness.

Provide accurate forecasting, customer evaluation, and procurement reports; consistently achieve sales quota, forecasted revenue, and unit targets; update all CRM systems and reporting on market and competitor activities.

Deliver presentations across internal meetings with other company functions to aid business development.

About You

Bachelor’s degree preferred; 8+ years of professional experience.

3+ years of sales management experience preferred.

Strong coaching mindset and commitment to talent development; communicates with radical candor.

Skilled at conflict resolution and problem‑solving to achieve win‑win outcomes.

An outside‑in focus: outstanding end‑customer relationship skills.

Skilled in sales processes and methodology.

High learning agility and creative thinking.

Agile in changing environments with the ability to effectively lead teams through change.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $199,500 USD – $370,500 USD. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors, including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive. This job posting will close.
