Purchasing Coordinator

Pay
Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Coordinate field deliveries, purchase goods and services needed to stock office supplies, materials, and HVAC equipment needed for all projects.
Maintain records of equipment that has been ordered on Bill of Material.
Coordinate with internal and external customers to maintain inventory levels and material stock.
Evaluate vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history.
Confirm shipping dates and addresses with vendors for orders with expedited shipping.
Ship and monitor parts to customers by means of UPS and other carriers, as needed.
Reports major shipping problems to project managers and coordinates resolution of issue.
Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate by reviewing order confirmations, shipping notifications and packing slips or proof of delivery for drop shipped orders.
Maintains pricing histories and other vendor records.
Document material and equipment deliveries to and from jobsites.
Process and request all RMA’s

Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
Special Requirements
Competent Person Training and Certification
Fall Protection Training Certification
Assist with Safety Program implementation for field and office personnel.
Able to load and unload vehicles requiring various physical abilities (listed below).
Able to back trucks and trailers in and out of service bays in warehouse.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
