The Supplier Performance Manager is the central figure in Supplier Programming and Activation, responsible for managing supplier relationships and executing sales and marketing strategies to achieve financial objectives. This role involves collaboration with suppliers, sales divisions, operations, and management, balancing profitable volume growth with sales capacity and supplier expectations. A broad understanding of sales, pricing, planning, budget management, and forecasting is essential.
Job Description
Build and maintain annual plans, promotional calendars, and sales tools.
Develop and coordinate sales incentives and prioritization with Sales Management.
Manage pricing, profit, and inventory, ensuring adequate supply and optimal levels.
Own and oversee the Johnson Brothers LMFs, Supplier Billbacks and Banks
Conduct monthly inventory assessments and drive inventory reduction plans.
Coordinate supplier meetings, reviews, ride‑alongs, blitzes, and target account activities.
Support RFP processes and provide input for business reviews and monthly supplier communications.
Ensure brand activation and event management.
Oversee the creation and distribution of sales materials, POS management, and marketing strategies.
Maintain key account relationships, participate in market visits, and provide training and coaching to sales teams.
Monitor and manage supplier accounts receivable, bill‑backs, and ensure timely resolution with finance and accounting teams.
Participate in General Sales Meetings, translating brand initiatives into actionable goals for the sales team.
Create and distribute best practices around focus periods, goals, and program results.

BS degree or equivalent work experience; prior experience working in a wholesale/distributor environment,
MUST have industry experience .
