Overview
At Maslow’s Campus Communities, the Leasing and Marketing Specialist serves as the on‑site driver of leasing momentum, marketing execution, and resident engagement at the community. This role is responsible for executing the approved marketing strategy, overseeing leasing administration, delivering an exceptional resident experience, and collaborating closely with MCC’s corporate leasing team to achieve occupancy and retention goals.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute the community’s marketing direction and strategy, with a focus on driving new traffic, conversions, and resident retention.
Implement the approved annual marketing plan, ensuring consistent brand presence across all channels.
Oversee the property’s social media marketing, including content planning, posting, engagement, and alignment with MCC’s brand standards.
Create, coordinate, and execute on‑site and off‑site marketing and leasing events within the approved marketing budget.
Work within the approved marketing budget, tracking expenses and maximizing impact.
Oversee the full leasing administration process, including lead management, application flow, lease execution, reporting, and data accuracy within Entrata.
Participate in weekly leasing meetings with MCC’s corporate leasing department and contribute to strategy discussions.
Identify and pursue new local marketing opportunities, building strategic community partnerships and executing collaborative co‑marketing initiatives to drive awareness and leasing traffic.
Collaborate closely with the MCC’s corporate leasing team to align on campaigns, messaging, leasing performance, and best practices.
Lead and oversee the Community Assistant team, including scheduling, training, and daily coordination related to leasing and resident engagement initiatives.
Ensure top‑notch resident customer service throughout the prospect, leasing, move‑in, and resident lifecycle.
Plan and implement resident engagement initiatives that support community culture, connection, and retention.
Uphold Maslow’s property standards related to curb appeal, cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation.
Complete special projects, tasks, and initiatives as assigned.
Act as the on‑site ambassador of Maslow’s brand, values, and operating philosophy.
Qualifications
Experience in student housing, multifamily leasing, marketing, or hospitality strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of leasing processes, marketing execution, and resident engagement strategies.
Experience managing social media for a brand, property, or organization.
Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and represent a brand with confidence and professionalism.
Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
Proficiency with property management systems (Entrata experience preferred).
This role requires daily, on‑site presence at the community.
