Encore Communications (www.encoretma.com) is seeking an Account Manager to join our team. In this performance-driven role, you will be accountable for client satisfaction, retention, and growth. You will collaborate with strategists, project managers, technical experts, and creative teams to align work to client objectives and deliver a consistently strong client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Development:

Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a primary day-to-day contact and developing a deep understanding of client business, industry, and marketing goals.

Account Retention:

Retain accounts by building trust, maintaining satisfaction, and consistently reinforcing agency value.

Account Growth:

Identify opportunities and proactively present solutions to expand client engagement and support account growth.

Project Coordination:

Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to translate client needs into clear briefs, communicate status to clients, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and at the highest quality.

Issue Management:

Proactively identify client or project “red flags,” address challenges early, and strengthen relationships through effective resolution.

Project Success:

Ensure campaigns and projects align with client objectives and that results, insights, and outcomes are clearly communicated.

Financial Management:

Oversee budgets, estimates, and billing while monitoring scope and flagging financial risks.

Skills & Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

3–5 years of account or client management experience, within a marketing, communications, or creative agency environment.

Communication:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and articulate ideas clearly.

Strategic Thinking:

Expertise in marketing strategy with the ability to analyze performance data, interpret metrics, and provide insights and recommendations that help clients meet their marketing objectives.

Project Management:

Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects, timelines and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Prioritization:

Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.

Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with CRM tools, project management platforms, analytics software, and marketing platforms.

Problem‑Solving:

Skilled at identifying client or project “red flags,” managing difficult conversations professionally, and reinforcing trust through effective resolution.

Client‑Centric Mindset:

Demonstrated commitment to understanding client goals, ensuring satisfaction, and driving retention and growth.

Creative & Production Understanding:

Working knowledge of the creative and production process, with the ability to brief teams, manage feedback, and support on‑time delivery of high‑quality work.

Financial & Scope Awareness:

Comfort working with budgets, estimates, billing, and scope, with the ability to flag risks early.

Base Pay:
