Job Summary
PharmaCann New York is expanding its Brand Ambassador program. The position is a 1099 contract role, offering a maximum of 10 hours per week during Thursday‑Sunday. Pay is $25 per hour. Brand Ambassadors will represent PharmaCann’s House of Brands (LivWell, #HASH, MAGNITUDE, P3, PC Nursery, CAM, Binske, and matter) across Buffalo, East Syracuse, Albany, NYC, and Long Island for pop‑ups, activations, grand openings, and other events. Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain a high‑level understanding of PharmaCann’s products in your territory and related general cannabis knowledge. Provide in‑store product demonstrations, conduct Patient/Customer Appreciation Days (PADs) events, and other field marketing events to increase brand awareness and drive store sales. Provide in‑store training for dispensary staff. Assist clients with merchandising and marketing initiatives. Complete feedback reports and questionnaires for PharmaCann after each event. Capture and provide pictures and video of demos, in‑store displays, shelf displays, and other specified areas. Build and maintain relationships with budtenders in your territory. Maintain regular contact and communication with your supervisor. Track all hours and mileage regularly. Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of PharmaCann and fully supports its purpose, goal, and key objectives. Complete additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications
1–2 years of experience as a Brand Ambassador. Ability to work independently, adapt to changing conditions, and communicate effectively. Possesses sales skills, including persuasion, overcoming objections, active listening, and negotiation (may be required). Outgoing, attentive, comfortable with public speaking and engaging customers and retailer partners. At least 21 years of age. Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation for travel to dispensaries in your territory. Positive attitude and professional demeanor. Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and Thursday‑Sunday schedule. Successfully complete a background check. Additional Requirements & Working Conditions
Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills. Comfortable with presenting and speaking to large groups. Deep knowledge of cannabis—science, industry, people, and culture (if new, training will be provided). Ability to learn and use social platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and similar. Positive, tolerant attitude; treat all people with understanding, respect, and kindness. Physical Requirements
Navigate and set up promotional materials and displays in retail environments. Manage driving commutes to dispensaries. Push/pull and lift up to 50 pounds. Stand or walk up to four hours.
