Attorney/ Advocate

Our law firm is seeking an experienced and passionate *Criminal Defense Lawyer* to join our team and handle criminal cases across the *20th Judicial Circuit, including Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry, and Glades counties*. The ideal candidate will be committed to defending constitutional rights, advocating for clients, and delivering exceptional representation in all stages of criminal proceedings. *Key Responsibilities:* * Represent clients in all phases of *criminal defense litigation*, including arraignments, depositions, hearings, and trials. * Draft and file motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents. * Conduct legal research on criminal statutes, sentencing guidelines, and case law to build strong case strategies. * Negotiate plea deals and sentencing alternatives with prosecutors. * Review, organize, and analyze evidence including police reports, witness statements, and discovery materials. * Prepare witnesses and exhibits for hearings and trial. * Provide clients with regular updates, guidance, and strong courtroom advocacy. * Collaborate with fellow attorneys to enhance case strategy and firm success. *Qualifications:* * Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. * Active membership and good standing with the Florida Bar. * Previous experience as a *Criminal Defense Lawyer* or criminal law attorney preferred. * Strong trial preparation, legal research, and courtroom litigation skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, courts, and colleagues. * Ability to manage a demanding caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Passion for protecting clients’ rights and ensuring fair legal outcomes. *Why Join Us:* As a *Criminal Defense Lawyer* on our team, you will have the opportunity to grow your legal career alongside a highly respected group of attorneys with a reputation for excellence.
