The Fine Jewelry Sales Professional is responsible for delivering an exceptional, luxury-level client experience while consistently achieving established sales goals. In addition to in-store excellence, this role requires comfort with social media engagement and brand representation, both on company platforms and through the candidate’s own professional presence. Success in this role requires sales discipline, emotional intelligence, confidence on camera, and the ability to convert both in-person and digital engagement into lasting client relationships. We are seeking a Part-Time Fine Jewelry Sales Professional who understands that fine jewelry sales are built on relationships, not transactions—and who is comfortable representing a luxury brand both in-store and online. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a full-time position for the successful candidate. This position includes a competitive hourly base wage plus a generous commission structure, offering strong earning potential for motivated professionals.
Responsibilities Client Experience & Sales Performance
Deliver a white-glove, relationship-driven sales experience from first greeting through long-term follow-up
Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals
Build and maintain a business client book that generates repeat business and referrals
Conduct in-depth consultations to understand client needs, occasions, budgets, and preferences
Confidently present fine jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, and luxury timepieces
Close sales while maintaining integrity, transparency, and brand standards
Proactively follow up with clients via phone, text, email, and social platforms when appropriate
Social Media & Brand Representation
Comfortably appear on Huntington Jewelers’ social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc)
Participate in short-form content, client features, product showcases, and educational videos
Represent the Huntington Jewelers brand with professionalism, polish, and consistency
Actively grow and maintain a personal professional social media presence aligned with luxury retail standards
Understand how social engagement supports relationship-building, brand visibility, and sales generation
Product Knowledge & Expertise
Maintain working knowledge of diamonds (GIA standards), gemstones, precious metals, and jewelry construction
Clearly explain quality, value, pricing, and care
Stay current on new collections, custom capabilities, and estate inventory
Operations & Professional Standards
Accurately process sales, special orders, repairs, and custom projects
Maintain showroom presentation and merchandising standards
Follow company policies related to security, compliance, and confidentiality
Collaborate with management and team members to achieve store-wide goals
Qualifications
Prior experience in fine jewelry or luxury retail sales preferred
Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve sales goals
Comfortable on camera and engaging on social media platforms
Interest in growing a professional personal brand alongside the company brand
Professional appearance, demeanor, and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly
Self-motivated, accountable, and performance-driven
GIA education or coursework is a plus (not required)
Compensation $19 - $21 hourly
