Summary We are looking for a Territory Sales Representative to join our high‑performing sales team. Working in Florida, you will represent Champion Petfoods to retail and distribution partners. This is a high‑visibility role based out of Orlando, FL.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain productive relationships, partnering with distributor and retail accounts while advocating our vision, purpose, and values.

Work within an experienced team that collaborates, communicates best practices, and works together to achieve shared goals.

Perform and manage territory coverage while prioritizing frequency that aligns with account opportunity.

Manage and control all budgets assigned for the retail customers.

Promote a fast‑moving brand’s awareness, increase sales, and boost customer engagement.

Deliver inspired education and training to distributor sales team, retail partners, and consumers.

Conduct a review in the store in terms of product pricing and distribution.

Drive in‑store presence through display, expanding Orijen and ACANA space, and premier placement of POP/signage.

Implement Champion’s merchandising and branding standards.

Work industry shows and weekend events that engage and educate consumers on the ORIJEN® and ACANA® brands.

Ride‑along with Distributor Sales Representatives.

Communicate field activity to the Regional Manager through daily and weekly reporting, working together on scheduling, prioritizing, and territory planning.

Develop market knowledge with awareness of competitor’s offerings from both the consumer and retailer point of view.

Perform all administrative functions associated with direct account and retail store management within established deadlines.

Key Requirements

Outside sales experience ideally within the pet specialty industry; consumer packaged goods/retail experience is a plus.

Proven ability to build and maintain relationships.

Must be able to handle, manage and overcome objections encountered within the sales process.

Remote team collaboration with a proactive, results‑driven mindset.

Proven experience using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint along with a CRM program.

Experience presenting to large and small groups.

Flexibility to travel on average 50% within territory, with overnight stays required.

Availability for work events on evenings and weekends as needed.

Occasionally be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in a 401(k) plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depends on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part‑time schedule, store associate).
