The Estimator’s primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional customer experience while creating accurate repair estimates and coordinating repair needs. The Estimator must assess vehicle damage, document needed repairs and parts, and keep customers and insurance companies informed throughout the repair process. The role supports meeting the repair facility’s KPIs and aligning with team members. Key Responsibilities
Document and update every customer interaction efficiently and accurately. Provide customers with accurate, timely information and guide them through the repair process. Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics. Adhere to WOW Operating Way regarding customer drop‑offs, repair planning, communication, and delivery. Communicate all customer requests to appropriate team members. Greet customers positively in person and on the phone. Understand all required insurance programs and procedures. Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team as required. Support other team members when needed. Attend monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings (if required). Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by the Store Manager. Maintain the store’s KPIs by maximizing role performance. Knowledge of repairs and original equipment guidelines. High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills. Minimum 1‑year experience in a DRP. Willingness to complete I‑CAR training. Valid driver’s license. Required Skills and Abilities
