Commercial Real Estate Attorney Acquisitions & Dispositions

Are you a talented commercial real estate attorney ready to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a skilled attorney to join a fast-paced real estate investment team and support our legal and transactions functions. As a key partner to the legal and transactions teams, you will be responsible for navigating the complexities of high-value real estate and corporate transactions from inception through post-closing. You'll ensure successful outcomes across our national acquisition and disposition portfolio by overseeing document preparation, closing processes, due diligence, and all related legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and revise transaction documents, including purchase agreements, leases, and closing statements
  • Prepare and organize closing binders, ensuring all documents are properly executed and filed
  • Manage due diligence: title/survey review, zoning/environmental reports, document checklists, compliance
  • Act as liaison between internal teams, external counsel, clients, and third-party vendors
  • Organize and manage the closing process, including schedules, document prep, and fund transfers
  • Oversee post-closing matters: recordings, obligations tracking, transaction files
  • Resolve any post-closing issues and ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements
  • Maintain organized transaction records and regular communications with stakeholders

Requirements Qualifications

  • JD plus 23 years commercial real estate legal experience, ideally in a law firm setting
  • Strong tech proficiency for transaction management and complex documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated legal skills, integrity, and ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Self-starter capable of delivering high performance independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills across all organizational levels

Compensation

$100,000$150,000 salary, annual discretionary bonus
