Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock using pick lists and RF scanners.
- Verify that the correct items and quantities are selected for each order.
- Stage picked orders in the designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to a supervisor.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking speed and accuracy.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks, including lifting and moving products as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and follow instructions.
- Familiarity with RF scanning devices is advantageous.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Capability to perform lifting tasks, including moving items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
