Press Brake Operator

As a Forming Fabricator, you will be a productive and responsible member of your work team, contributing to the production of quality aerospace parts. This entry-level position invites candidates from diverse backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow within the aerospace industry. Your role is crucial in supporting our commitment to total customer satisfaction and quality products. Responsibilities: Assemble parts and operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner. Bend, punch, hand form, deburr, or saw metal products as per supervisor instructions. Support production team efforts to ensure on-time delivery and continuous improvement. Essential Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use calipers. Experience with press brake machines, CNC operations, and sheet metal fabrication. Knowledge of machine operating and setup processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Three to six months related experience or equivalent education and experience. Familiarity with punching processes, roll forming, and tooling is a plus. Understanding of lean principles in a manufacturing environment preferred. Why Work Here? Work Environment: Work in a clean, organized manufacturing shop, handling steel and sheet metal to manufacture parts. The environment can be heavy and loud, with safety being a top priority. Employees should be prepared for physical activity, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting heavy objects. Work a Monday-Friday daytime shift, with flexibility for overtime when required. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
