Assembly Technician
Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you will perform various tasks to assemble units in compliance with dimensional drawings, safety requirements, and quality methods. You will be responsible for understanding provided drawings and utilizing tools to assemble parts accurately. Responsibilities Perform assembly tasks as instructed by the group leader. Utilize various tools such as pneumatic impact, pliers, and wrenches. Move between multiple workstations as needed. Wire and assemble casings. Participate in sub-assembly mating. Recognize and report any defective parts. Record completed processes accurately. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly techniques. Experience using hand tools and general labor skills. Ability to read and interpret tape measures accurately. Additional Skills & Qualifications Flexibility and adaptability to change. Team-oriented with the initiative to learn. Capability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs. Excellent attendance and positive attitude. Compliance with PPE requirements. Why Work Here? The role requires standing, walking for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs (non-repetitive), and stooping. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grenada, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
