Accounting Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented accounting clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Sandy, Utah. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy in financial records and data management. You will play a key role in supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and data entry tasks. Responsibilities: Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and tracking payments. Accurately enter financial data into QuickBooks and other accounting software. Prepare and review invoices to ensure proper documentation and compliance. Maintain organized financial records and update systems as needed. Assist with resolving discrepancies in financial reports or transactions. Generate reports and summaries to support accounting operations. Collaborate with other team members to streamline accounting processes. Provide administrative support for accounting and finance tasks. Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. Requirements: Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Proficiency in using QuickBooks and other accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation. Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
