Metal Fabricator
Shift: 2nd shift (2:00pm-12am M-F) Pay: $20+ based on skills and experience Location: Ocala, FL (34474) Job Summary
We are seeking a Fabricator to join our shop team. This role involves fabricating and assembling a wide range of metal products including: railings, ladders, stairs, baffles, floor hatches, pole line hardware, and more. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with fabrication equipment, hand tools, and basic welding. Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble metal products including handrails, railings, ladders, stairs, baffles, floor hatches, and pole line hardware Layout, cut, bend, fit, and tack weld components Operate shop equipment including press brakes, shears, rollers, and digibenders Deburr parts using hand and power tools Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings Accurately measure materials using a tape measure Perform tack welding to assemble components Maintain a clean and safe work environment Required Skills & Qualifications
Metal fabrication experience (Intermediate level) Ability to tack weld Experience using press brakes, shears, and rollers Strong tape measure skills (must read without issue) Ability to read blueprints Comfortable using various hand and power tools Experience deburring and assembling fabricated parts Preferred Qualifications
Previous handrail fabrication experience Familiarity with digibenders Structural or architectural metal experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OCALA, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
