Job Overview Savant of Santa Monica is looking to hire an
Activities Director
to plan and implement programs for senior residents, ensuring a welcoming environment and supporting their well‑being.
Mission Enhance the lives of senior residents by providing exceptional care, engaging programs, and promoting their physical and mental health.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement a well‑rounded and stimulating program of activities for seniors that fosters a positive atmosphere and meets the spiritual, cultural, physical, intellectual, and social needs of residents both inside and outside the community.
Organize, conduct, and evaluate planned activities.
Supervise activities/transportation staff, if applicable; provide training; set and adjust rates of pay and hours of work.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one year of experience working with elderly.
At least one year of experience providing planned activities or be enrolled in an appropriate education or training program.
Valid First Aid Certification.
Valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle report.
Availability for weekend coverage and on‑call emergency situations on a rotating basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Activities Certification if state mandated.
