Job Overview The Commercial Analyst is responsible for data generated by information systems that support commercial management of the underground soft rock and crushing business. The position involves compiling data, analyzing data trends, monitoring Key Performance Indicators, creating monthly reports, improving data integrity, and developing reports and dashboards that increase data visibility.

Key Job Responsibilities

Prospect data management: monthly reports showing current sales pipeline; meet with users to create/customize reports and dashboards; develop PowerBI to increase automation and utility of monthly prospect and win/loss reports

Key performance indicators: develop dashboards and reports to automate current executive KPIs driving business strategy, including On Time Delivery, Order Lead Times, and Win Rates.

Machine data management: audit machine records and work with regional account management teams to improve data integrity; work with product management and finance to improve machine data segmentation (product hierarchy)

Account data management: audit account records and improve categorization to improve visibility on market diversification targets; work with service organization to improve quality of customer contact data and develop a new email automation tool to improve customer communications

Data integration support: monitor cross-platform integrations to quickly identify and escalation occasional failures; support current Artificial Intelligence projects designed to increase data accessibility and utility.

Qualifications/Requirements Required Skills

2-3 years of professional data analysis experience

Microsoft Office expertise, particularly Excel

Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred, including reports, dashboards, and CPQ modules)

Effective communication skills including written, verbal and presentation abilities

Preferred Skills

Collaboration with international teams in a matrixed organization

Training in change management and influencing without authority
