Job function: Management and Manufacturing
- Receive, unpack, and put-away incoming materials, including CSM, tools, and equipment.
- Disperse product as needed to operations and area departments.
- Conduct cycle counts of finished goods, components, non-VMI, and raw materials.
- Review min/max stocking levels in cabinets, crib, store; submit orders to supply chain as needed.
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Operations by running various reports related to deliveries and receipts.
- Assist Operations Master Scheduler to optimize scheduling.
- Understand and follow all company policies, processes, and procedures pertaining to receiving and operations.
- Practice safety measurements to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Actively participate in various continuous improvement projects, cost savings initiatives.
- Ability to learn future scanning system.
- Support and backup Shipping Coordinators as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years experience in material coordination.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience working in an ERP/MRP system; Job Boss preferred.
- Experience or understanding of receiving and shipping in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in managing inventory, tracking part locations for multiple areas, and maintaining.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Minimum 2 years forklift driving experience and ability to obtain license (in house).
- Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift 30-50 pounds continuously.
