Commercial Lines (P&C) Account Manager

Join a growing team of talented Account Managers to help our clients succeed in commercial lines insurance. This independent, dynamic role focuses on managing a book of mid‑to‑large sized Commercial Lines accounts with extensive opportunities for growth, advancement, and professional development.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Producers and other team members on all aspects of client procedures.
Make major decisions independently in handling marketing of new business and renewal submissions for new and existing clients; document accordingly.
Understand clients’ insurance objectives and analyze and compare insurance plans to determine suitability.
Proactively review and service client accounts; prepare applications, surveys, and other documents for submission; negotiate with underwriters; prepare proposals; process policies; review issued policies for accuracy & endorsements.
Maintain proper documentation of client conversations and carrier interactions; update all required management systems.
Act as a liaison between clients and carriers to resolve client service issues.
Serve the needs of client accounts by updating policy details and maintaining new/renewal client files.
Drive new business from existing accounts and contribute to departmental production goals; identify and follow up on cross‑selling opportunities.
Qualifications
Resident P&C Producer License.
Middle Market Risk Experience.
3+ years of experience in a proven Account Management role in the required lines (5–10 years preferred).
Contract and Lease Review Experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to listen, clarify and respond well.
Demonstrated proficiency with Applied Systems EPIC.
