FSA Federal (FSA) is partnered with iHire to recruit top talent for this vacancy. The role supports the overall mission of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Responsibilities

Under supervision, assist attorneys with the litigation process.

Review work of paralegals and clerks.

Prepare all documents related to litigation, including drafting motions, briefs, memoranda of law, etc.

Screen documents for privilege.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Law degree or currently a student at an ABA‑accredited law school with at least one year completed.

Experience conducting legal research using various research tools and law library resources.

Excellent communication skills—oral and written, including legal writing.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software applications, including databases.

Ability to work in a team environment, deliver high‑quality work, and maintain a professional disposition under extreme pressure.

This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation. Agency Overview The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) conducts national and international investigations targeting global drug trafficking networks and drug‑related terrorism involved in the illegal production, manufacturing, or distribution of controlled substances.
