We are seeking a Law Clerk to support the overall mission of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). This position will provide legal research, document drafting, and assistance with litigation matters.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with the litigation process.

Review work of paralegals and clerks.

Prepare all documents related to litigation, including drafting motions, briefs, and memoranda of law.

Screen documents for privilege.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree or active student in an ABA‑accredited law school with at least one year of completion.

Experience conducting legal research using research tools and law library resources.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including legal writing.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other common software applications.

Ability to work in a team and maintain a professional disposition under pressure.

Citizenship & Background Requires U.S. Citizenship and a minimum 7‑year background investigation.
