YOUR ROLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – KY/IL/IN TERRITORY As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and strengthening customer relationships across your assigned territory. By combining market insight with direct customer engagement-including meetings, presentations, and networking-you will identify customer needs and deliver customized automation solutions. Close collaboration with internal teams will ensure customer requirements are met with accuracy, efficiency, and value.

In this role, you will:

Analyze customer needs and industry trends to uncover strategic growth opportunities.

Grow existing accounts while identifying and developing new markets and technologies.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at both operational and executive levels.

Set and manage territory priorities aligned with ATC's strategic growth objectives.

Lead business development efforts in Transportation, Consumer Products, and Medical Device assembly markets.

Guide and support Sales Representatives to achieve territory goals.

Represent ATC at trade shows and industry events to increase brand visibility and engagement.

Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline data within ATC's CRM system.

Provide regular performance updates and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets.

ABOUT YOU You bring a balance of strong communication skills, business acumen, and technical understanding of the automation and engineering space. You are proactive, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong customer focus. You're confident identifying opportunities, building trust, and delivering value-driven solutions.

Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar sales tools.

Comfort working in a fully remote role with travel as required.
