Summary
The Relationship Banker II is responsible for opening accounts for customers, preparing new account paperwork and requesting the required identification. This position also conducts teller transactions and cash vault transactions accurately and promptly. The incumbent provides exceptional customer service while following Bank policies and procedures, maintaining essential controls and mitigating risk. They help customers achieve their financial goals through the sales and servicing of bank products and services and work with the branch team to achieve team scorecard goals, while meeting individual scorecard goals.
Principal Accountabilities

Responsible for opening accounts for customers and preparing new account paperwork and requesting the required identification.

Handles customer transactions and helps with account‑related inquiries. Accurately maintains and balances cash drawers and vaults and reconciles any discrepancies.

Identifies the needs of new and existing customers and offers appropriate products and services.

Assists with internal controls and daily report follow‑up, as well as handling night depository deposits and other operational duties as assigned.

Consistently demonstrates the Bank's Right by You quality standards by providing a superior level of customer service.

Mitigates losses through work accuracy and adherence to Bank policies and procedures, internal controls and regulatory guidelines as described in the Bank Operations and Procedures Manual.

Achieves individual and/or team financial, production and relationship results relative to the specific metrics and goals assigned.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED with one year of banking experience and two years of cash handling and customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong relationship and sales skills.
Basic math and computer skills.
High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
Maintains a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
Completes teller training classes.
Completes product knowledge, account maintenance, and account opening training classes.
Can pass a background check.
