Summary The Relationship Banker I is responsible for conducting teller transactions and cash vault transactions in an accurate and timely manner. They provide exceptional customer service while following Bank policies and procedures, maintaining essential controls, and mitigating risk. The employee helps customers achieve their financial goals through the sales and servicing of bank products and services, and works with the branch team to achieve team scorecard goals and personal scorecard goals.
Principal Accountabilities
40%
Handling customer transactions and account‑related inquiries; accurately maintaining and balancing cash drawers and vaults, and reconciling discrepancies.
15%
Identifying the needs of new and existing customers and offering appropriate products and services.
10%
Assisting with internal controls and daily report follow‑up, handling night depository deposits, and other operational duties as assigned.
10%
Demonstrating the Bank’s Right by You quality standards by providing a superior level of customer service.
10%
Mitigating losses through work accuracy and adherence to Bank policies and procedures, internal controls, and regulatory guidelines.
10%
Achieving individual and/or team financial, production, and relationship results relative to the specific metrics and goals assigned.

Performing other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED with one year of cash handling and customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Qualifications
Strong relationship skills.
Basic math and computer skills.
High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
Maintaining a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
Completion of teller training classes.
Ability to pass a background check.
