This is a full-time, on-site Paralegal role based in Columbia, SC. The Paralegal will be responsible for preparing and reviewing legal documents, conducting research, supporting attorneys in trial preparation, managing case files, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal procedures and deadlines. Additional duties include organizing and maintaining legal records, drafting correspondence, and coordinating communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications
Proficiency in law-related tasks, including familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
Strong skills in legal document preparation and document review
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Research skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Organizational and time-management skills to manage deadlines effectively
Proficiency with legal research tools and software is preferred
Previous experience in workers’ compensation law is a plus
