Position Overview We are seeking a
Property Management Specialist
to support the management and accountability of government and company property at a Global Services site in San Antonio, TX. This role ensures compliance with applicable government regulations, customer contract requirements, and internal policies related to property acquisition, control, use, inventory, and disposition.
This position is
100% onsite
and is a
non‑managerial, non‑leadership role .
Key Responsibilities
Administer contract provisions related to the acquisition, control, use, care, reporting, and disposition of company and government property
Interact with internal stakeholders regarding property‑related issues
Assist with audits, documentation of processes and procedures, and investigation/reporting of lost or damaged property
Establish and maintain accurate property records (e.g., tooling, test equipment, plant equipment, materials) within property tracking systems
Ensure accountability of property from initial acquisition through final disposition
Conduct physical inventories (sighting, scanning, sampling) and reconcile discrepancies
Support compliance with applicable regulations and policies (e.g., FAR, DFARS, internal procedures)
Assist with property disposition activities including reclamation, scrap, sale, or transfer
Support contract closeout activities, including inventory adjustments, liability determinations, and title issues
Verify property records accurately reflect inventory on hand and that servicing requirements are scheduled and completed as required
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 35 lbs or more
Ability to operate a forklift
Required Qualifications
1+ year of experience managing Government or Capital Property
Forklift operation capability
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Regular and predictable attendance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with GOLD (Government Online Data)
Background mentoring or supporting fellow coworkers
2+ years of experience with lean processes or continuous improvement initiatives
Strong team collaboration skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills Additional Information
