Position is located at 525 S Main St, Tulsa, OK. It requires flexibility to work a full‑time schedule Monday through Friday from 8 am to 7 pm as needed.
Job Title Mortgage Consumer Direct Lender
Summary The Mortgage Consumer Direct Lender offers professional guidance to customers during their financing search and expert advice on 1‑4 family residential loans. The incumbent pro‑actively calls or responds to an array of customer contact initiatives—telephone inquiries, the Arvest website, the Arvest app, call campaigns, and follow‑ups—to generate sales of residential mortgage loans. The role maximizes revenue in a fast‑paced environment while minimizing risk exposure by adhering to all federal, state, and internal compliance regulations.
What You’ll Do at Arvest
Proactively contact potential customers through various channels; make multiple sales calls daily (inbound and outbound) to generate mortgage applications through lead sources.
Provide a comprehensive picture of mortgage products and sell relevant benefits persuasively to each customer.
Review the Arvest lead management system and respond to any questions.
Take applications over the phone, the Arvest website, or the Arvest app and collect required financial/mortgage information.
Analyze detailed financial and credit data, matching customer needs with appropriate loan programs and risk levels.
Maintain current knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines.
Build rapport, leverage customer relationships, and exceed their needs.
Resolve customer complaints personally or refer them to the appropriate area.
Build “customer for life” relationships through routine follow‑ups and referral opportunities.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the BSA/AML Program; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures.
Toolbox for Success – Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or GED (required).
1 year of sales experience (required).
1 year of mortgage/real‑estate experience (required).
Current NMLS SAFE Act registration or ability to register within 30 days (required).
Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Relevant military experience considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
Physical Demands The associate must be able to travel occasionally by themselves within the United States, possibly overnight. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
Compensation $21.89 – $26.00 per hour.
