As an Employee Relations Partner, you will contribute your experience and knowledge toward fulfilling our Mission – Making Lives Better Through Transportation. This position will work full-time at our Ames, IA location.
Responsibilities
Champion customer service by providing timely, empathetic, and effective support to employees and leaders.
Solve problems by analyzing workplace concerns, recommending fair and practical resolutions, and conducting thorough investigations.
Model integrity by interpreting policies, codes, and laws with transparency and advising others on ethical application.
Coach leaders through both small and large employee issues, offering consultation and resolution guidance.
Support policy development and deliver engaging training sessions to promote understanding and compliance.
Teach leaders in one-on-one and classroom settings on topics related to employee relations.

Minimum Requirements
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's degree.
A combination of a total of four years of education and full-time experience in technical or professional human resources work, where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university course work equals one year of full-time experience.
Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes three years of full-time work performing technical human resources work.
