About Capitol:
Capitol Distributing is the largest convenience wholesale distributor in Idaho. Founded in 1983, Capitol delivers to retailers across the Western United States from its 300,000 square foot distribution center in Caldwell, Idaho.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00pm - 4:30am. Schedules are subject to change with potential required overtime based on business and operational needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Night Fulfillment Clerk is responsible for finishing warehouse production and supply functions, as well as preparing the warehouse for next-day operations. Some duties may include:
Follows safety policy and procedure across the warehouse
Order Selector- picking various stock to fill customer orders
Loading- timely and accurate loading of product and produce into outbound trucks
Receiving- timely and accurate unloading of product and produce from inbound truck
Stocking- safe, accurate, and efficient replenishment of product in the warehouse
Inventory- performs counting of products to ensure items are accurately stored and stocked
Use scanning devices and technology to ensure the proper tracking of product.
Pass qualifications to operate company equipment in the warehouse (forklift, bailer, cutters, etc.)
Regularly communicates with Leads, Supervisors, & Managers
Perform other duties and work in other areas as assigned
Working Conditions:
Our night team works in all areas of the warehouse. Employees will work in both ambient, refrigerated, and freezer environments upon request. Employees will be expected to operate a variety of technology and equipment. Individuals who work in the freezer or operate a forklift will receive additional pay differentials. This role is very fast-paced and requires a significant amount of movement. Physical movements include walking, standing, lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching. Employees may be requested to periodically lift, push, and pull items occasionally up to 60+lbs. It is required for all our employees to be able to understand safety policy and procedures.
Skills/Qualifications:
Warehouse/manufacturing experience
Experience of working in a distribution warehouse a plus
Ability to lift and move products of various weights
Ability to use an electronic scanner and technology
Occasional overtime to meet order demands
Must be able to comprehend policies and procedures
15 (120 hours) Days Paid Time Off Annually
