Civil Foreman who leads from the front , owns outcomes, and takes pride in delivering infrastructure that Hawaiʻi depends on.

What You’ll Do You are the
tip of the spear
— translating plans into action and expectations into results.
You’ll lead crews on complex underground utility work, coordinate daily production, enforce safety without compromise, and serve as the critical link between the field and management.
Lead and coordinate crews and subcontractors on waterline replacement projects
Set daily plans, adjust for conditions, and keep production moving
Hold the line on safety, quality, and accountability
Safety First — Always
Enforce all safety protocols and company standards
Conduct daily inspections of tools, equipment, and jobsite conditions
Create an environment where every worker goes home safe
Execution & Quality
Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
Ensure all work meets project, client, and Alpha standards
Maintain clean, organized, hazard‑free jobsites
Communication & Coordination
Act as the primary liaison between field crews and management
Provide regular progress updates and flag issues early
Resolve field challenges professionally and decisively
Culture & Crew Development
Lead with respect and clarity — no chaos, no guesswork
Coach crew members and elevate performance
Represent Alpha’s values on every job, every day
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years as a construction foreman or similar leadership role
Strong background in heavy civil and underground utility work
Experience on prevailing wage projects strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic reporting tools
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong leadership presence, decision‑making ability, and work ethic

Conditions of Employment
Completion of standard pre‑employment screening
Successful completion of a background check conducted after a conditional offer; any prior issues will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis consistent with Hawaiʻi and federal law
Passing a drug test (for both full‑time and part‑time hires) conducted in line with Hawaiʻi statutory requirements
