Residential Electrician – Up to $3000 Sign on Bonus!
Job Summary:
As the Residential Electrical Quality Assurance Technician, you will physically inspect residential houses to ensure all lighting, devices, and equipment are wired, installed, and working correctly according to local and NEC codes and are ready for inspection.
Starting Pay:
$20/hr depending on experience. Up to $3,000 sign‑on bonus available for qualified candidates.
Duties / Responsibilities
Install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to local NEC codes.
Inspect and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential new construction homes.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to identify where wiring should be placed.
Troubleshoot and repair all circuitry in new home construction.
Maintain good communication and organization skills.
Maintain safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills / Abilities
Understanding of local and federal regulations for safe electrical systems.
Ability to read and execute blueprints and technical drawings.
Willingness to operate a company vehicle.
Self‑motivated and driven to complete work to the best of ability.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Physical dexterity.
Clear communication.
Organizational skills.
Education & Experience
3+ years of fast‑paced residential electrical new construction experience.
Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
Physical Requirements
Must possess own hand and power tools.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at times.
