Must Haves:
Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
Strong background in analog circuit design principles
Proficiency with CAD tools (Mentor Graphics, Altium) and SPICE for circuit simulation and verification
Experience leading design teams or projects
Demonstrated troubleshooting ability using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and deliver solutions
U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
Nice to Haves:
High Voltage DC power systems and module design experience
Experience with power topology design (watts to KW+ converters)
Magnetics Design and High-Speed Design
R&D background with advanced test/troubleshooting of circuit schematics
Experience writing requirements, specifications, and verification procedures
Prior success mentoring junior engineers and leading design reviews
Job Description: As an
Analog Design Lead , you will guide a cross‑functional team responsible for developing advanced undersea communication systems. This role combines leadership with hands‑on technical expertise in analog and high voltage electronic systems.
Responsibilities include:
Lead a design team through product ownership from concept definition through release to manufacturing
Direct and participate in design, development, modification, and evaluation of electronic components and integrated circuits for subsea applications
Mentor junior engineers on design, testing, and problem‑solving best practices
Collaborate with system teams to define specifications and translate them into actionable designs
Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and provide design guidance
Conduct simulations and analyses (SPICE, Cadence) to validate designs
Support production and test engineering during product transfer to manufacturing
Interface with customers to troubleshoot issues and provide technical support
Prepare product briefs, datasheets, and application notes
Contribute to technology roadmaps and new product concepts
