Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical contact for customer inquiries and product questions
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding needs and project requirements
Evaluate technical feasibility and ensure alignment with company capabilities
Partner with engineering and production teams to develop tailored transformer solutions
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations
Support commercial negotiations with sales leadership to close deals
Track industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities
Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events as required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
Proven sales engineering or technical sales experience (industrial/electrical/transformer experience preferred)
Strong understanding of transformer function, design, and applications
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to simplify complex concepts for clients
Ability to manage multiple accounts, inquiries, and timelines effectively
Experience with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically, 10% internationally
Experience with industrial, renewable, or utility customers preferred
Familiarity with international transformer standards and certifications a plus
Multilingual skills (English/Spanish) a bonus
