Job Description Position Overview:

Front Door St. Louis is seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Apartment Leasing Agent to join our team. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for leasing apartments to prospective residents, ensuring high occupancy rates, and providing excellent customer service to current residents. This role involves working closely with property management and maintenance teams to create a positive living experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Leasing and Sales:

Greet prospective residents, provide tours of the community, and showcase available units.

Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in‑person about leasing options, pricing, and amenities.

Assist prospective residents with the application process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of required documentation.

Close sales and meet or exceed leasing targets and occupancy goals.

Stay updated on current market conditions and competitor offerings to effectively market the community.

Customer Service:

Maintain a positive and professional relationship with current and prospective residents.

Address resident concerns and requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Coordinate move‑in and move‑out processes, including preparing lease agreements, inspecting units, and managing key distribution.

Conduct follow‑ups with prospective residents after tours and maintain a strong pipeline of potential leases.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate and organized leasing records and files.

Assist with preparing leasing reports and maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of leasing trends.

Collaborate with property management to ensure the community is well‑maintained and presents a welcoming environment.

Marketing and Outreach:

Participate in community events, open houses, and marketing initiatives to attract new residents.

Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organizations to promote the property.

Utilize social media and other digital platforms to enhance the property’s online presence and generate leads.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service, preferably in the real estate industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Appfolio) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
