Midwest Marketing
The In House Social Media Manager will plan and publish brand content across multiple social media channels, build editorial calendars, publish contributor content, create social media ads and monitor all platforms. This role is responsible for deepening social conversations, building engagement and brand loyalty, and enriching earned media marketing strategies by planning and implementing social media for the organization’s owned channels.
Responsibilities
Plan and create social media content across multiple social media channels for a variety of customers and the agency itself. Main platforms include Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Assist with the implementation of a social media content calendar and regular publishing schedule using social media strategies tailored to target audiences and aligned with overall customer goals.
Place and monitor a variety of social media ads.
Create content from content sessions with the client.
Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment between brand identity, marketing objectives, and social media strategy.
Contribute to the organization’s social media best practices by leveraging the latest trends to support strategic goals.
Analyze ongoing social media initiatives, measure effectiveness, and report results with clear, actionable insights.
Monitor, elevate, and respond to social interactions.
Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication.
Adhere to Midwest Marketing’s privacy guidelines to ensure each customer’s information remains confidential.
Attend client events and meetings as needed.
Produce and edit social media videos.
Meet with Meta reps with Ads Campaigns
All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's in marketing or related field
Experience in leading the creation and implementation of social media campaigns.
Experience in creating social media content calendars.
Familiar with a wide range of social media platforms, PR and marketing strategies, and analytics tools.
Experience in paid social media advertising
Excellent command of the English language with very strong writing and copyediting skills.
Be Meta certified (or have the ability to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, public relations, or a related field.
Experience publishing on social media platforms and publishing tools.
Background in or familiarity with sports marketing or sports social media is a plus.
Experience with Photography/Videography/Graphic Design is a plus.
May need to sit or remain stationary for extended periods of time.
Extremely time-sensitive deadlines to meet customer demand.
On-site in the office.
