Hybrid Executive/Personal Assistant to Investor

An entrepreneur running a real estate fund, several private equity investments, and a construction tooling business is relocating from the UK to Los Angeles and is looking for an Executive/Personal Assistant. Ideal candidates have experience in private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, or fast‑paced financial environments and can manage both business and light personal tasks with discretion. The role is hybrid: three days inperson, 2 days remote. There will be a home office at the principal’s residence in Bel Air. The early start time is due to business with NYC- not required to be in office at that time, just online. Background in PE, VC or investment bank required.
About the Job
Manage complex scheduling, investor/LP coordination, and multi‑time zone calendars
Prepare meeting briefs, presentations, and organize deal materials and data rooms
Coordinate travel, itineraries, and logistics for business and fundraising tripsBe the point of contact for the individual businesses
Keep the principal organized and on track
Communicate with clients
Maintain organization across multiple companies (task lists, document systems, CRM tracking)
Manage the executive’s calendars, priorities, communications, and meeting preparation
Support with occasional personal tasks: car registration, liaise with CPA (gather docs and KIs, organize investment info, etc)
Research and hire vendors for the home when needed
Vet and prioritize the executive’s inbox
About You
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related support position
BA/BS from a college or university
Experience in private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, or investment bank required
Driver’s license a plus
Comfortable interacting with LPs, founders, and senior executives
Able to thrive in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Polished, professional demeanor
Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
Exceptionally organized, discreet, and detail‑oriented
High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a proactive mindset
Comfortable working independently
