Your Role As a Psychiatry Sales Account Manager, you will spearhead the promotion of our psychiatry product line, leveraging extensive clinical knowledge and strategic sales techniques to enhance performance. You will be skilled in navigating the complexities of commercialization in a dynamic marketplace, showcasing your ability in several key areas:
Essential Functions
Business Planning & Account Leadership:
Utilize digital tools and data insights to identify opportunities, develop effective strategies, allocate resources, and monitor sales execution.
Selling Expertise:
Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their needs and objections, ultimately driving behavior change.
Customer Relationship Management:
Establish and sustain productive relationships with clients based on their needs and the organizational goals.
Market & Therapeutic Knowledge:
Analyze market trends and dynamics to uncover unique opportunities within your territory.
Reimbursement Knowledge:
Stay informed about reimbursement dynamics and proactively address payer access issues with the resources available from Lundbeck.
Pharmaceutical Compliance:
Understand and adhere to regulatory policies and procedures governing pharmaceutical promotions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
Over 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, or medical device sales.
Proven ability to excel in complex training programs and product knowledge certification.
A self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Must reside within 40 miles of the designated territory boundaries.
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Must meet credentialing requirements of healthcare providers/facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a specialty sales force and knowledge of CNS/neuroscience products.
Demonstrated success in sales performance and account plan development.
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with sales data reporting tools.
Experience with product launches and working with alliance partners.
Proven leadership experience in professional settings.
Travel Requirements Willingness to travel 30% - 40% domestically to engage with customers and attend conferences.
Compensation Salary range for this position is $117,000 - $155,000, with an additional sales incentive target of $39,000.
