Working Hours Monday‑Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Role Overview The Rental Account Manager is responsible for the sales and marketing of Velocity’s Commercial Truck Rental product line and the day‑to‑day operation of the commercial truck rental fleet, ensuring fleet utilisation, revenue per unit, and highest‑level customer service.

What You’ll Do

Actively market the commercial truck rental product line.

Develop and execute an effective marketing plan designed to produce measurable results.

Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business.

Visit assigned customers and prospect new customers, acting as a public relations liaison for VTRL.

Communicate rental needs to inside support people.

Meet budgeted rental revenue and utilisation targets in your AOR and achieve new‑business sales goals.

Complete prospecting activities to secure first and follow‑up appointments with decision makers.

Schedule and document activities.

Maintain an awareness of market behaviour and competitive trends, responding accordingly.

Regularly meet with the Regional Rental Manager/Director of Rental to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.

Required Qualifications

2‑5+ years of related sales experience preferred.

Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal skills; excellent organisation, planning, and time‑management.

Ability to work in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment with a customer‑service focus.

Excellent customer‑service and communication skills, both oral and written.

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Compensation

Base salary: $55,000‑$60,000 per year, depending on skills and qualifications.

Quarterly bonus opportunities and additional incentives.
