The Magic Starts At Six At Six is a contemporary art and design hotel with 343 rooms and suites, including our Masterpiece Suite and 32 longstay apartments adjacent to the hotel. In the house you will also find a gym, our wine bar Blanche & Hierta, At Six Cocktail Bar, our Dining Room, and our rooftop bar Stockholm Under Stjärnorna. In the heart of the hotel we have our restaurant Dining Room where we serve our famous breakfast every day, 365 days a year. We are known for having one of Stockholm’s best breakfast buffets with a good variation and high quality. We focus on delivering a unique breakfast experience where nothing is missing.
Responsibilities As sous chef you are responsible for the team during day‑to‑day operations, ensuring that routines are followed and managing the team when the head chef or senior sous chef is unavailable. The role is 100 % operational and on site. Working hours are mainly mornings and daytime; weekends may occur. You will actively participate in the development of the product and the department by being creative and proactive. Some administrative tasks may occur.
Qualifications & Requirements
Culinary education
At least 6 years of experience in high‑quality places
Curious and humble to continue learning
Creative in terms of food and routines
Committed to promote and develop hygienic, organisational standards and enjoys working under pressure
Previous experience with breakfast is a plus, preferably within a larger hotel
Has a keen eye for details and is used to planning ahead
