About Us Hawthorn Creative is an award-winning agency specializing in brand development, websites, SEO/SEM, social media management, and content marketing for the hospitality and luxury space. With a proven track record of delivering results, we’re expanding our team and seeking an Account Manager to join us, reporting to the VP of Client Experience.
Role Overview As Account Manager, you’ll be the primary point of contact for clients while ensuring projects are executed smoothly from kickoff to delivery. You’ll manage timelines, coordinate with internal and freelance teams, and foster strong relationships that drive client satisfaction and retention. Candidates with CHDM or other hospitality/marketing industry certifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Lead client onboarding and set clear expectations.
Serve as the main client contact, building strong, trust-based relationships.
Manage communication, timelines, deliverables, and budgets across projects.
Act as client advocate while solving problems and anticipating needs.
Gather feedback, identify opportunities for growth, and support upselling efforts.
Track KPIs and share client success and feedback with leadership.
Partnering closely with our new biz team, you’ll manage the clients they bring in while also prospecting and landing new accounts to grow your own portfolio.
Requirements
3+ years in account management or client services (agency experience preferred).
Familiarity with marketing strategies, branding, and digital channels.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with CRM and project management tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Self‑motivated and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
CHDM certification or other relevant hospitality/marketing certifications a plus.
Starting salary: $50-60K base plus commission and performance‑based bonuses, based on experience.
Unlimited PTO and 401K match (for full‑time employees).
