National Account Executive (IT Staffing) Hybrid | Uptown Charlotte, NC | ~25% Travel
Role Summary We are hiring a motivated Account Executive to create new mid‑market & Fortune 500 partnerships for our IT staffing business. This role is for an expert hunter skilled in prospecting, securing initial meetings, navigating the MSA process, and driving initial placements.
Work Model and Location
Hybrid role based in Uptown Charlotte, NC (HQ).
Expected to be on‑site 3‑4 days per week; 1‑2 days per week remote.
Approximately 25% travel for client meetings and onsite relationship building.
Compensation
Target on‑target earnings (OTE):
~$250,000
(uncapped bonus plan tied to new MSAs and initial placements)
Equity awards
based on annual revenue goal attainment
Key Responsibilities
Own new‑logo acquisition: build target lists, prospect, and book first meetings with Mid‑Market & Fortune 500 decision‑makers (with emphasis on banking, insurance, and fintech).
Design and execute a focused GTM motion for net‑new enterprise accounts, including ICP definition, account tiering, and prioritization.
Continuously test and refine outbound messaging using data and AI‑driven insights (open rates, response rates, meeting conversion).
Partner with leadership to refine GTM strategy based on what is working in the market—feedback loops matter here.
Bring curiosity and experimentation to how sales work gets done; we expect our AEs to actively look for ways to multiply impact through tooling, not just effort.
Navigate enterprise buying processes: stakeholder mapping, discovery, solution positioning, and procurement coordination through MSA execution.
Partner internally with recruiting and delivery to ensure speed and quality from first req to first placement.
Drive initial placements under new MSAs; establish early credibility and performance before transitioning accounts to an Account Manager.
Build and manage a disciplined pipeline: maintain accurate CRM hygiene, stage progression, and activity/outcome reporting.
Travel to client sites as needed to accelerate trust, close cycles, and support early account launches.
Required Qualifications
3‑5 years of experience in IT staffing (mix of recruiting, account management, and/or sales is acceptable).
2+ years in a new‑logo, hunter‑oriented Account Executive role with documented wins opening new accounts.
Demonstrated ability to sell and close enterprise staffing services, including guiding stakeholders through procurement and MSA execution; experience closing Fortune 500 and ideally Fortune 100 MSAs is strongly preferred.
Strong prospecting discipline and comfort with outbound motion (email, phone, LinkedIn) and multi‑threading within complex organizations.
Ability to translate hiring needs into staffing solutions across common IT roles (software engineering, data, cyber, project management, business analysis).
Willingness to work hybrid with regular on‑site presence in Uptown Charlotte, NC and travel up to ~25%.
Tools and Platforms
Bullhorn (ATS/CRM) – or comparable staffing CRM with willingness to ramp quickly.
LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
ZoomInfo (or similar data/prospecting tools).
Standard productivity and meeting tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Zoom/Teams).
What Sets Us Apart We win on quality and speed. Instead of flooding clients with resumes, we focus on delivering fewer, higher‑quality submissions. A differentiator in our model is real technical vetting: not only by technical recruiters, but also through engineer‑led technical screens to ensure the candidates we submit are credible, job‑ready, and aligned to the client environment.
How Success Is Measured
Pipeline growth: net‑new target accounts added and progressed through stages.
MSAs signed: conversion from opportunity to executed agreement.
Initial placements: speed‑to‑first‑placement and early performance under new MSAs.
Benefits
