Job Description We are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support complex transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development projects, and joint ventures. The role requires performing due diligence, preparing and reviewing legal documents, and collaborating closely with attorneys, clients, and third-party service providers. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and have experience assembling closing binders.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed title, survey, and zoning reviews and prepare summaries, abstracts, and transaction documents.
Assist attorneys and clients with title insurance, survey standards, and zoning requirements.
Collaborate with title companies, surveyors, and zoning consultants to finalize diligence documentation.
Identify potential issues during due diligence and flag for attorney review.
Review transaction documents for proper formatting and compliance for recording.
Track post-closing obligations to ensure all requirements are met.
Assemble and maintain closing binders and transaction deliverables.
Support the closing process for acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
2–3 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience.
Must have
experience assembling closing binders .
Familiarity with title, survey, and zoning matters for commercial properties.
Experience with financing and acquisition transactions preferred.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
