Position Overview The Director of Senior Living Care Services provides executive leadership for all clinical and care operations across the Assisted Living portfolio. This role ensures the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, and quality outcomes while driving strategic initiatives that enhance resident experience and operational efficiency. The Director partners with cross-functional leaders to align care delivery with organizational goals and growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement clinical care strategies aligned with organizational vision and regulatory requirements.
Lead initiatives that improve resident outcomes and operational performance.
Quality & Compliance
Oversee QAPI programs, survey readiness, and adherence to state and federal regulations.
Maintain compliance with Assisted Living standards and risk management protocols.
Resident Care Excellence
Ensure individualized care planning and family engagement standards.
Promote a culture of compassion and dignity in care delivery.
Workforce Development
Design staffing models and lead recruitment and retention strategies.
Oversee clinical education programs and competency development.
Financial Stewardship
Manage clinical budgets, optimize labor and supply costs, and ensure ROI on care initiatives.
Technology & Data
Drive adoption of EHR/EMAR systems, analytics dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Operations, Sales, and HR to deliver integrated care solutions.
Education / Licensure
Licensed nurse, LPN/RN license strongly preferred.
Experience
10+ years of progressive leadership in Assisted Living/Senior Care.
Demonstrated success in quality improvement, survey performance, and scaling care models.
Experience with EHR/EMAR, clinical analytics, and process standardization.
Experience managing large teams and implementing scalable care models.
Familiarity with state-specific Assisted Living regulations and survey processes.
Working knowledge of the waiver program.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Deep knowledge of Assisted Living standards and risk management.
Ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
Skilled in interpreting clinical data, KPIs, and driving continuous improvement.
Exceptional verbal and written skills for engaging executives, staff, residents, and families.
Adept at leading organizational change and implementing new care models.
Comfortable with EHR systems, digital tools, and clinical analytics platforms.
Working Conditions
Travel 30–50% (multi-site visits, surveys, leadership meetings).
Schedule: Full-time; must demonstrate availability during critical events, surveys, etc.
