About BLW Big League Wiffle Ball (BLW) is America’s first professional wiffle ball league. BLW started as a backyard wiffle ball league with just four teams during the COVID‑19 pandemic. The ensuing fall, BLW announced what is now one of the largest tournaments in the country, the Western Wiffle Ball Classic at Scottsdale Stadium. From 2020‑2025, BLW held a backyard league every summer, hosted major tournaments throughout Arizona, saw an enormous rise in social media following, and played a World Series at AT&T Stadium. In the fall of 2025, BLW launched America’s first professional wiffle ball league. The 2025‑26 season features 10 city‑based franchises competing in four regional tournaments (Scottsdale, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Dallas) from October‑February. Team owners include Kevin Costner, Gary Vaynerchuk, Dude Perfect, Marc Lasry, David Blitzer, David Adelman, and other prominent individuals. This summer, BLW will expand its reach even further, looking to fill several roles in the process.
About The Role The Social & Visual Content Producer Intern will support content production across all BLW social media platforms. This role focuses on editing long‑form and short‑form game highlights for YouTube and social media, with an emphasis on fast turnaround and high‑quality storytelling. The intern will work closely with BLW management and execute assigned content for league events and digital distribution.
Responsibilities
Edit long‑form game highlights for YouTube in a timely manner
Edit short‑form highlight clips for Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, Facebook, and other social platforms
Produce game recaps, promotional videos, and social‑first content
Assist with day‑of event content creation, including quick‑turn edits and live social posting (Atlanta events)
Create supporting graphics and visual assets for social media
Follow BLW brand guidelines and creative direction
Manage deadlines and multiple content deliverables in a fast‑paced environment
Qualifications
Prior experience editing sports game highlights required
Experience editing long‑form highlight content for YouTube and Instagram
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop required Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and highlight structure
Familiarity with sports social media trends and platform best practices
Ability to meet tight turnaround deadlines
Must be available to be in Atlanta for live event coverage
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with minor league baseball, collegiate athletics, or professional sports teams
Previous work in athletic team promotion or sports marketing
Experience producing content for live sporting events
Portfolio Submission Applicants are encouraged to submit a portfolio or reel demonstrating sports highlight editing experience. Portfolio may include YouTube links to long‑form game highlights or recaps, short‑form social clips, or examples showing fast turnaround or live‑event edits. A 100‑word statement on the applicant’s passion for the position is also highly encouraged.
