Utah Valley University’s e2i program is seeking a creative and motivated Content Creator to develop engaging written, visual, and multimedia content that highlights interdisciplinary projects, events, and student achievements. This role provides hands‑on experience in storytelling, branding, and digital content development across multiple platforms. The Content Creator will work closely with marketing, social media, and project teams to produce content that supports outreach, engagement, and project visibility.

Responsibilities

Content Development: Create original content, including written posts, graphics, short videos, and multimedia materials for social media, websites, newsletters, and promotional use.

Storytelling & Messaging: Translate technical or project-based information into clear, engaging, and audience‑friendly content.

Editing & Quality Control: Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency with e2i’s brand voice.

Collaboration: Work closely with photographers, social media managers, and project teams to gather content and support campaigns.

Content Planning: Assist with brainstorming content ideas, themes, and content calendars.

Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with e2i’s mission, messaging, and visual identity.

Creative Innovation: Experiment with new content formats and creative approaches to improve engagement and reach.

Qualifications

Must be a current UVU student.

Preferred Major: Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, English, Multimedia Production, or a related field (degree‑seeking student preferred).

Required Skills

Creative Skills: Strong writing skills and the ability to create engaging content for digital audiences.

Multimedia Experience: Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing software is a plus.

Attention to Detail: Ability to produce polished content with minimal errors.

Communication: Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
