Sr. Small Business Associate Manager – Remote
Lead a client-facing team of Account Managers and Onboarding Specialists, driving high-quality service delivery and client outcomes. Coach the team to excellence, optimize workflows, and partner across departments to enhance overall performance.
Accountabilities
Lead & coach a client-facing team of bookkeeping and payroll staff.
Own client experience standards to ensure service level agreements are met.
Implement and enforce operational excellence and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Manage capacity and workflow to optimize labor efficiency across the business.
Engage in cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues and support strategic initiatives.
Track KPIs and publish insights to improve performance and outcomes.
Uphold compliance with policies and escalate risks accordingly.
Identify process gaps and propose changes for continuous improvement.
Cultivate an inclusive, high-performance culture within the team.
Lead special projects aimed at enhancing the client experience.
Requirements
5+ years of related experience with 2+ years of people leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong operational acumen with proficiency in SOP implementation.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results under pressure.
