The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, expanding market presence, and nurturing long-term relationships across construction, industrial and municipal sectors. This role requires frequent in-person visits to job sites and customer offices throughout Central Indiana. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with strong communication skills, experience in B2B field sales, and the ability to understand and recommend the right solutions in portable restrooms, restroom trailers, handwashing stations and water tanks. Daily workflow includes using Navusoft to manage leads, quotes, contracts, and daily customer interactions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with construction companies, munidipalities, industrial sites, and commercial accounts. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory. Utilize building permit generated leads to acquire new business and interpret permit documentation effectively. Conduct on-site evaluations to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate service solutions? Present and sell B&R Services' offerings, including:
Portable restrooms (standard & ADA) Handwashing and sanitation stations Water tanks Restroom trailers
Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and service agreements using Navusoft. Negotiate pricing and terms while maintaining company profitability margins. Coordinate with Operations, Dispatch, and Customer Service to ensure proper delivery and servicing. Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads, and follow-ups in Navusoft. Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and territory growth metrics. Attend trade shows, networking events, community functions, and insdustry gatherings representing B&R Services professionally. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to help guide strategic decistions. QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of outside B2B sales experience, strong preference will be given for construction, equipment rental and waste services industries. Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship building abilities. Familiarity with CRM platforms; experience with Navusoft is a plus. Ability to read construction plans, understand job-site logistis, and speak confidentaly with field superintendents and project managers. Strong time-management skills with the ability to work independently. Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel daily within the region. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook). Relationship-driven and customer focused. Results-oriented with a strong follow-through. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities. Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced entironment. Ability to operate with professionalism and integrity while representing B&R Services. WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily field based with daily travel to job sites and customer locations. Work in office settings for meetings, planning, and Navusoft updates. Frequent exposure to outdoor entironments and active construction sites.
