Base pay range $19.00/hr - $19.00/hr
Shift Monday-Friday 10AM-7PM
Location James Club – 2530 East Carey Avenue, North Las Vegas, NV 89030.
Responsibilities
Lead and teach new skills; develop and deliver programming to youth members aged 6-18.
Serve youth.
Think on your feet, learn new things, and adapt quickly when changes occur.
Commit to continuous improvement and seek the best ways to get things done.
Create positive and supportive relationships with youth, families, Club staff, executive team, Board members, community groups, and youth development partners.
Maintain a fun, energetic, and engaging atmosphere.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, And/or Abilities
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization working with youth in a health, wellness, sports, and/or recreation setting.
Working knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google suite of productivity applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).
Ability to deal effectively with multi‑age groups of children, small group activities, and large group organized activities.
Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints and handle multiple demands.
Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
Ability to interact professionally with the public, families, Youth Development Professionals, and members.
Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for the safety, well‑being, and output of others.
Strong communication skills.
Compensation Compensation: $19.00 hourly. Eligible for full‑time benefits after the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
